More Medications that Feed Morgellons Disease 7/7/19

In a recent update, 6/26/19, Medications that Feed Morgellons, the following medications were listed as likely to feed skin parasites.

  1. Adderall XR (amphetamine)
  2. Concerta (methylphenidate)
  3. Dexedrine (amphetamine)
  4. Evekeo (amphetamine)
  5. Focalin XR (methylphenidate)
  6. Quillivant XR (methylphenidate)
  7. Ritalin (methylphenidate)
  8. Strattera (atomoxetine hydrochloride)
  9. Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine dimesylate)
  10. Nuvigil
In response to that update, I received two emails, one from Melissa and one from Jane, that identifies other meds to be wary of.

'Richard,
I was just reading your email about medications that feed parasites.

Hydrocortisone which is a very common medication and often used for skin
rashes, or low energy via low cortisone levels in a persons blood have
always made my condition worse. Parasites love cortisone.

I had bad experiences using the cream and the pills. Can’t take either.

Thanks,"

Melissa :)

Jane writes, "You can add Gabapentin and Neurotin to that list. These all work to increase dopamine and for some reason, that increased itching."

Thanks to both Melissa and Jane for adding these medications to our list of "BE WARY" meds. Bottom line is that if you have difficulty having the King Diet™ kick in, check to see if you're on one of these meds and discuss alternatives with your doctor--some were suggested by our Dr Su in the 6/26/19 blog post referenced in the first line of this update. .
