Mixing NG and Enzymes Don't Mix 1/28/19

There are two popular enzyme products on the market--Kleen-Free and Kleen-Green. They basically clean the surface and or your skin by breaking down organisms. Disinfectants, like ammonia, bleach, boric acid, and so on, poison the organisms.

Our Nature's Gift Debriding Soap (NG) goes deep into the cells inside the pores of the skin to clean the organisms from the deeper levels of the skin. Because of the low concentration of NG in the bath water, it does not either poison or break down the organisms and we rely on disinfectants to destroy the organisms.

During the support phone call today, someone shared that she takes baths in NG and one of the enzymes. A few days earlier, another lady was asking about using NG and enzymes together in the electrostatic sprayer. In both cases this might seem a reasonable thing to do, but it's not. Why? Answer: because the NG will break down the enzymes. So, instead of the NG being totally available to deep clean your skin, it's being used up destroying the enzymes so they cancel each other out. It's like some use peroxide and vinegar together in the bath as disinfectants--not a good idea since they combine to produce a different chemical rendering both useless as disinfectants. Same would be true mixing baking soda with bleach or pool shock as disinfectants.

With regard to enzymes, since a lot of people do use them, we plan on adding our own line of NG enzymes to our on-line store. I'll let you know when we have them available.
